This music is the result of long and fruitful relationships, and reflects a broad range of influences and experiences.

David Witham, Jay Anderson and Paul Kreibich have been playing music together since the mid-70s. In addition to their past collaborations, they bring to the music a wealth of individual experience that ranges from playing with George Benson, Joe Sample, Carmen McRae, Chick Corea, Michael & Randy Brecker to Ray Charles, Frank Zappa, k.d. lang, and Dr. John.

Jon Crosse and Alex Acuna bring their own unique gifts to the music. Equally fluent on trumpet and saxophones, Crosse is an interpreter and improviser of the highest order. Since coming to prominence with Weather Report, Acuna is recognized as one of the most unique and influential drummers playing today.

I studied piano with Jaki Byard at the New England Conservatory of Music, and Alan Broadbent in Los Angeles. I've had writing and performing associations with saxophonist Ernie Watts, bassist / composer Jay Anderson, the Jeff Gauthier Goatette, and percussionist Luis Conte. I was Musical Director for George Benson from 1990-2007, and have served as a producer for Tom Scott and Grover Washington. ... more
